Description

Kufri is a natural park in the Himalayan belt. It is the abode to a large number of hilly birds and animals. The mountain ranges are covered with snow that looks dazzling. It is famous for its beautiful environs and the cool refreshing atmosphere that pervades it. The place is encircled with green hilly wealth and rolling stones

We have eighteen vibrant and aesthetic cottages fusing modern and traditional architecture surrounded by apple trees with all amenities engulfing in them forms the Eco village, Kufri. What gives Eco Village, Kufri its awe-inspiring view of the snowy peaks is the fact that it is located at an elevation of about 2500 meters above sea level facing the Himalayan range.


By Road
The fact that Kufri is on the National Highway connecting Shimla to Kinnaur (the old Hindustan-Tibet road to Shipki La) means that there is never a shortage of buses connecting one with Shimla. Shimla is at a distance of around 19 km and it takes only half an hour to drive down to Kufri from there. From Shimla, taxis are also easily available for reaching Kufri.

By Rail
The nearest broad gauge railway station is Kalka, at a distance of 99 km from Kufri. It is well connected with the key cities of India, like Chandigarh, Shimla and Delhi, by regular train services. Nearest narrow gauge railway station is Shimla and at a distance of 19 Kms from Eco Village, Kufri.

By Air
The nearest airport from Kufri is the Jubbarhatti Airport, which is located at a distance of 37 km. Jagsons Airlines provides the maximum flights between Shimla and the rest of India, including Chandigarh and Delhi. Indian Airlines, Jet Air and Kingfisher Airlines also provide services to the aiport. From Jubbarhatti , private taxis are easily available for reaching Kufri.
