Description:

International School of Management Patna (ISM) has been established to pursue excellence in the field of management education and promote entrepreneurship in Bihar. ISM hopes to change the present management education scenario in this part of the country. The first step in this direction is to provide an academic environment where students can benefit from distinguished faculties as well from peers. ISM has drawn faculty members from institutes like Harvard Business School, IIMs, IITs, TISS and other eminent B-schools. The second step has been to setting up of curriculum which is relevant and specifically caters to the requirements of industries. The key reason behind opting for PGDM, rather than university MBA, was the flexibility that we get in case of former in terms of designing the curriculum. The third step has been setting up of quality infrastructure which can support envisioned system of learning. ISM has 2.5 acres State-of-the-art campus located amidst green surroundings close to Patna. The campus has amphitheatre classrooms and auditorium with advanced audio-visual aids to enhance the learning experience. The college also boasts of a library named after noted nuclear scientist and Ex-President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The library has a collection of the most sought after books on management other related disciplines
Promoting entrepreneurship is another key focus for the school. The development of Bihar cannot be complete unless companies from Bihar establish their presence outside the state and country. ISM has formed Business incubation centre for promoting and supporting new ventures.
