The Bhilai Institute of Technology is a Private Engineering college located in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India. It is the first self-financed engineering college in Central India. In 2005, Institute get affiliated to newly formed Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. The institution has since grown to an intake strength of 780, and now offers Bachelor of Engineering in seven disciplines, as well as postgraduate degrees, such as the Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration. It is one of the premier institutions in Central India and ranks among top 50 engineering institutions in India.
