Almehdi a.s Islamic Library was founded on 15 Jamaid-ul-Awwal 1430 A.H. /11 May 2009 A.D. by the lovers of Islam and humanity to spread the real relegion Islam. Its head office is at MOSVIABAD, WAHABPORA. TEHSIL & DISTRICT: BUDGAM (J&K). For propgation of the message of ISLAM the Idarah consists of six departments:
a. Library Department, b. Donation & Assistance Department, c. Printing & Publishing Department, d. Islamic Laws Department, e. Women's Department, f. Examination Department (With Misbahudduja University National Campus).
There are almost 2000 books and 400 journals in the Idarah based on translation of the Holy Quran,history, majalis, marsiya, fiqa, tib (medical) etc. in many languages like as Kashmiri, Urdu, English and Hindi.
Idarah gives books, journals, cds, cassettes etc. free of cost to the momineen. Idarah organises many ceremonies on the occassions of Birthdays or Martyrdoms of Aima Masomeen a.s. Idarah publishes a monthly magazine namely "ALMEHDI RISALA" in Urdu and Kashmiri languages. Idarah conducts various wining contests based on book reading, quiz and essay writting. Idarah assists poor and needy students and people. By end of 2012-13 Idarah will make proper arrangements for Islamic Distance Courses through Misbahudduja University, Inshallah Tallah.
