Description
Trained at the London School of Sports and Remedial Massage and a professional member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists I have worked with elite athletes and worked in Europe with top class skiers pre competition and post injury. My clients have included weightlifters, circus performers, office workers, elderly and generally treating people who just want a bit more mobilisation into their bodies.
My treatments combine trigger point therapy, neuromuscular release, deep tissue and myofascial release. I also treat people who have early on set Dementia in listening touch and work in care homes around London.
Sports -Aiming to reduce the chances of injury or sportsmen and anyone who and increase chances of recovery and improve performance. This is a deep, strong massage if necessary and treatments can often involve assisted stretching and muscle release work.
Remedial - Have a niggle in the neck, shoulder, leg , hip? Is the week getting worse and more stressful by the second...we will work with your individual musculoskeletal structure to create a treatment to remedy any issue specific to you!. About the therapist:
Following an injury in my professional dance training I can appreciate the mental, physical and emotional strain this can have on an individuals body and mind and general well being.
I believe that soft tissue therapy can help re- educate the body , creating a positive and lasting effect on the body and mind and bringing a sense of control and confidence back to the individual.
I work from StillPoint Centre in Liverpool Street in London and have very flexible hours. I am aware peoples lives are very unpredicatable and a busy lifestyle can mean a busy mind and not much time for yourself so appreciating this I work around you.
I also visit offices around London offering chair massage to relieve niggles and pains caused my the office work environment.
