Description
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has a wide-ranging brief to support the social well-being of Cook Islanders through welfare and social services, employment and business regulation, community support and film censorship.
In addition, the Ministry of internal Affairs is responsible to ensure progressive implementation of three key international conventions in which the Government has become a party to relating to women, children, and persons with disabilities.
The Ministry’s vision targets two distinctive goals: improving the social wellbeing of Cook Islanders, and supporting economic enablers through regulation of employers and businesses trade practices.
