Description
The Cook Islands drummers are renowned throughout the world as some of the most advanced creative and rhythmic drummers that our world has been graced with.
These Cook Islands drums are professionally hand crafted and made from traditional Tamanu (Mahogany) and miro wood type.
These hardwoods are wonderfully crafted into a Pate (drum) and have a quick rebound that creates very inspiring sounds.
There are many different sizes depending on their design. Some are used for high range whilst others are used for mid range or low range. The drum sticks that come with the pate are a hard wood and sourced from local iron wood trees. These sticks are difficult to break hence the selection of the wood type.
All of our drums are carefully tuned and are customs and travel friendly for overseas purchases.
