Description
I'm a mom of twins living in Airdrie. As a former CRA employee, I spent a lot of time working with taxpayers who made mistakes on their returns simply from not knowing what was or wasn't allowed to be claimed or what type of income was required to be reported etc. Upon moving to AB from BC in 2009, I decided to begin using my extensive knowledge of the personal tax system to offer my services to the general public. I don't claim to know absolutely everything (foreign tax is definitely not my area of expertise lol) but I have a very extensive knowledge base and can understand CRA jargon to explain things to you or find an answer if I don't have it off the top of my head.
I maintain very reasonable rates as I believe everyone should be able to access accurate tax advice or have their returns done without having to worry about coming up with multiple hundreds of dollars to do so. I have flat rates and do NOT charge extra for multiple income slips (e.g., T4s) or multiple credits (e.g., RRSPs, tuition, charitable donations etc) and I'm always happy to provide advice and answer any questions you may have.
Basic returns: $40 per return
Basic + employment/moving expenses: $60 per return
Self employed/rental income returns: $125 (bookkeeping must be completed) per return

I accept payments via cash or etransfer. If your budget is very limited, I'm also open to a barter system of payment so please feel free to contact me if funds are an issue!
