Lynda grew up in rural Campbell River spending most of her young 'Tom-boy' years exploring her very own back yard; her love for the west coast outdoors grew from countless hours playing in the woods, near rivers and lakes, and on mountains and beach shores. Having spent over a decade in Vancouver pursuing a career in retail management, she realized that Campbell River was where her heart belonged and where she wanted to raise her son. Lynda was always interested in and happily experimented with photography from a young age and transitioned her love and passion for her creative art into her professional practice. She is self taught; gaining experience working under other professional photographers, studying many published photos by experienced professionals and developing an extensive portfolio through creative trial and error. Her photography style has evolved and continues to grow using the natural outdoor beauty as her backdrop; fitted with just her camera Lynda also captures life in any setting and is eager to challenge her craft. It brings her much joy and fulfillment to have met so many fabulous people and to be able to give them the gift of a captured magical moment; experiences she cherishes and for each is very grateful for.
