We provide fresh, local, naturally grown produce at the Golden Farmers Market for those who like to know what they're eating.
We provide over 100 different varieties of fresh, local, naturally grown produce to all the wonderful people of Golden and area; with prices we like to keep in direct comparison with local grocery stores.
We are not currently "Certified Organic," but are however 100% dedicated to the challenge of keeping our garden free of chemicals. Biointensive agricultural practices are the only way we go.
It’s all as nature intended, & we are also diligent to source Heirloom Variety, Certified Organic seeds, & of course they are all "Non GMO."
We keep things simple by nourishing our soil with organic matter from the property (compost, grass clippings, manure, everything taken out put back in) We plant border crops of marigolds, pyrethrum etc. to discourage pests.
We like to farm back to basics, it's not easy but it's more rewarding knowing we are working with the land, it's also less expensive using your hands than having to invest in larger machinery.
We are very blessed that the people of our community have supported us so awesomely season after season.
