UChicago Research Bangladesh (URB) is an international non-profit research organization affiliated with The University of Chicago, USA. URB conducts research, training and community service activities for the improvement of human health in Bangladesh and beyond. URB works closely with scientists, health professionals and policy makers in Bangladesh, USA and other countries.

The mission of URB is to improve equity in health, reduce risk and determine determinants for health and its appropriate interventions. Research is primarily focused on reducing environmental risk factors causing significant public health problems that the people of Bangladesh faces and translate knowledge into policy and practice.
