Thyrocare Bangladesh Ltd (TBL), a franchisee of the international laboratory chain giant Thyrocare, received the College of American Pathologists (CAP), USA certification for continuous improvement in Quality. TBL participated in the CAP, USA External Quality Assurance (Proficiency Testing) Program since 2015. This program is participated by over 2000 laboratories all around the world. Under this Program, CAP, USA sends control materials (through courier) to participating laboratories- which run the controls in their labs and submit the results online. On the basis of submitted results, in comparison of all participating laboratories, CAP provides certification to Laboratories having Continuous Improvement in Quality. TBL received this Certificate for 2016 based on its performance in Quality in the years 2015 and 2016. In Bangladesh, TBL is the only privately owned laboratory to achieve this fit. This is a milestone in the history of Quality Laboratory Service in the Country.

The sample is processed in the Central Processing Laboratory, 24x7, following bar code system under strict Quality Control Process with guidance from experienced and skilled laboratory professionals using advanced networked automated analyser machines.
