The name of village is Edrakpur. It is a renowned village in the district of Pabna. It is an old village. The Village is situated on the East side of Pabna district.The village is located on the banks of the river Atrai। It is one kilometers away from the Kashinathpur. The village is not thickly populated. It has a population of about three hundreds. Most of them are Muslims. People of various classes live here. Most of the villagers are farmers. Some are businessmen and service holders. Few of the villagers are fishermen and carpenters. There are some educated men in my village. They live brotherly. It is an important village. There are a high school, a Primary school and Madrasha.The village has easy means of communication. The primary and high schools are really good for the boys and girls for their education. My village is famous for various cultural activities like Jarigan, the boat race and the bullock race etc. The people of my village are simple and honest. It may be thought as an ideal village in Bangladesh.
