Absolutely wonderful. First class in every way from food to staff and entertainment. All work so had for us and it is much appreciated. If you want to holiday in barbados go to turtle beach by elegant hotels i guarentee you williams not be disapointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Turtle Beach Resort. The staff was extremely friendly. There was a vast variety of food daily to choose from. The rooms were clean and the view from the room was beautiful! I'd definitely return when I'm visiting Barbados. Btw...the island is very nice!

Quite dated. No hot water in either of 2 rooms the entire week. Staff were wonderful though and the buffet food was varied and pretty tasty

If you are looking for vacation where you just sit beach side with a glass of wine and a good book then this is the place to go.

This was my very first stay at an all inclusive resort as I usually tend to back pack, stay at hostels, and have a lot of activity planned during my vacations. This time around my husband and I wanted to do nothing and Barbados was the perfect place for that.

The hotel it self could use some upgrading however the wonderful staff and the beach makeup for the lack of upgrades.

The only downside was that there was not a lot of activity at the resort after 10:00 pm. The tours (snorkeling and land cruising can be a bit expensive), but worth doing.

Let me start by saying ,if I could rate lower then "one" I would! By far this is the WORST all inclusive resort I've ever been to and I travel all the time. I been to Jamaica, Mexico, DR and Panama to name most recent travels. Hence, I know what to expect from all inclusive resorts. The purpose of this trip to Barbados was to attend a wedding - in which I might add was beautiful ,despite the resort disappointment. Upon arrival, check in went smoothly and we were assisted to our room with luggage. At this point I was satisfied; and anticipating a wonderful stay. Things went left when I asked to have food delivered to my room and was informed that room services is a $15 charge. I have never been to all inclusive and charged for room services(this is partially why I stay at all inclusive to be pampered and catered to). Not Only were they charging for room services but the house keeping was Its not like I was asking for a massage. The entire time I stayed there the same spot and dirty was behind the toilet. I complaint to management and he said he will personally see that its taken care of. When I returned to room that evening the dirty spot was still behind the toilet. The staff is extremely RUDE, food was disgusting .The pool area was filthy with food and dirty lounge chairs. Also, if you don't eat meat, you'll starve. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS TRIP WAS WEDDING AND BEACH!!! I was highly disappointed and will not recommend not even a dog to stay at this resort. Their was only two people with manners and that was Richard and I think the other bar tender name was Romar. I spent 1500.00 to stay 4 nights and wish I would have threw it in the trash instead or gave it to charity.

It's great and I really suggest it for tourists. The lifts are not that great(personally as a lift filmer), but it serves it's purpous. The rooms are great, cozy, spacious, seeing that I got a double room on the 3rd floor. Pool is nice, kids club is good for children, equipped with toys, computer, xbox, playstation, movies and other shings. It has a playground and sometimes a movie night. The food I REALLY SUGGEST!

In late January 2017, I was at the beach here. I want to stress that this review is about Sam and his beach staff at the Turtle Beach hotel in Dover. Poor, poor, and did I say poor attitudes but only to people who looked like them and who they assume are not tourist or guests. They threatened to call and did call security on us because we were sitting in their empty chairs on a public beach with at least 35 other empty chairs after I asked about renting same. Before we even got to this point the two (2) black workers, one dred and the other a lighter skinned male were absolutely rude. I went into the hotel to complain and the inside staff was extremely kind but I knew their job was to keep me happy and quiet and that nothing else would be done. The hotel manager remedied the situation by giving me the contact number to owner of the concession, Sam. who I called on 2 occasions but he never returned my calls.
The hotel would be a great stay if your hue is very light and if you tolerate such subtle racism because of course it would not be directed at you so it might not matter. If you care that all people are treated with respect then this might not be the place you want to spend your hard earned money and certainly not the place to tip Sam's beach staff.

The staff will rip you off and bleed you for money. We were caught in a tropical storm and they are very strategic on how they will take advantage of the situation. They quickly booked all their rooms as unavailable on websites and allowed them to charge whatever they wanted. Absolutely no sympathy or consideration of the situation. We even wanted to downgrade our room because we were forced to stay a couple of extra nights and they still charged the maximum. The staff was extremely rude especially Tamisha who was not helpful at all. We needed to make emergency phone calls but were hit with charges on our check out invoice. If you want to have a stress free vacation in Barbados I highly advise you look elsewhere perhaps the Sandals next door is a better option.
