  I normally rent from national or enterprise car rentals in North America. In my opinion, I received a better experience from southern rental. The whole process was very relaxed. They delivered and picked up the car directly from my hotel at no extra charge. They showed up early to drop off the car so that I didn't have to waste any of my day waiting for them. The car was in great shape and very clean and ended up costing me exactly what they said it would. There were no hidden fees. My gps I brought didn't work in Barbados, so I ended up needing to get a gps to get around. I didn't request a gps from them before hand, so when I called them after I already had the rental they were sold out. Since they are such kind and helpful people, this was not a problem for them. They called their friends at top car and drove me over to get a gps. In no time, and without breaking a sweat, I was on my way enjoying Barbados.
