  stayed here in 2004. Great food and friendly staff, facilities were fairly standard but perfectly OK.
  
  Was warned before booking that the beach was more suitable for surfers due to it being on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island. The good thing about this was there were few noisy families and spoiled kids to put up with. Plus little hassle from people trying to sell things. The pool area was fine for bathing anyway and i am not a strong swimmer so was not intending to go in the sea that much.
  
  Shame the place has closed. hope the helpful local staff, and the excellent chef, have found good jobs elsewhere .

  Visited about ten years ago. Food not great not varied and never in good time. Place is closed, maybe flattened and rebuild planned. Place was probably worst ever been to. Beach was hard work. Far too windy, great for the many kite surfers. Most of us stayed by pool, sheltered from wind.
