A really amazing place. The grounds and views were stunning, and the rooms were impeccably clean. Both the staff and the owners were very personable and also accommodating, and were very open to special requests. As other reviews noted, this isn't a flashy, tech-heavy resort. A lot of Sea-U's appeal is its elegant simplicity, but that also means that the internet is a little slow, and you might want to plan your dinner in advance, either there or at one of the other options in the area.

This was my first time in Barbados, I went solo and chose to stay on the east coast. Did my research, fell in love with pictures of Sea U Guesthouse, and it did not disappoint. I was the only solo traveller, the rest were couples, however it was perfect for me. Quiet and serence, perfect service, very clean. Breakfast was adequate - it wasn’t a “Hilton” breakfast, but if you like full English, they certainly deliver. I am planning to go again next year, and will not even think about looking for another place to stay.
PS. I would recommend renting a car, as even though there is a beach within the walking distance, unless you are a surfer - better explorer quieter beaches around the island.

Quiet place in BB. When you want to surfing in Bathsheba, there is no better spot to take a nap.

Great spot, if you are there on a Sunday night make sure you have an idea for dinner as a lot of places in the area are closed.

Spent a glorious week at Sea-U Guest House earlier this year overlooking the east coast near Bathsheba, far away from the tourist resorts of the west coast. Stunning views. No swimming but fantastic walks along the coast and an easy walk to the Botanical Gardens. Good bus services for going further afield. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and evening meals available. Lovely rooms.

A couple weeks before my trip, I snapped my leg and had to have immediate surgery.

I woke up with a titanium rod in my leg and news I couldn't travel to Barbados, so I contacted the hotel to move my trip. They told me that I could not cancel or take credit to come at a later date.

I feel robbed, but it is within their right. I'm sad they chose to handle the situation this way and feel like others should be warned.

Great place to get away on the east coast of Barbados. They cook a home made meal every night too!

    Hi
Stayed here with my wife (we were married in Bathsheba) in January
Awesome hotel, Awesome staff, Amazing food
But better than that, they helped immensely with organizing the wedding and were perfect hosts. My wife and I loved this place, the cottage was amazing to stay in. Can't wait to return, an annual vacation is for sure from now.
Missing the hotel and everyone there

The room was clean and well set up. We got in late after the office was closed and the property security guard let us into our room and showed us around the property. The hotel also set up a taxi ride for us from the airport

The views from our room were amazing and the staff was always welcoming and friendly. Monday rum punch with the owner was a great outing.
