Very accommodating, nice and clean with a view that made the East coast of the island delightful. A kind and helpful staff that gladly cater to all of your needs. Wonderfully tranquil.

Had an 8 day stay at Santosha and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a ground floor room with a private porch that opened out to the pool and garden. Room was as advertised, clean and with everything we needed. Property is in a relatively secluded area along the wind swept east coast. Beautiful beaches for walking not far (walking distance) from the hotel but not advised for swimming. A vehicle rental is pretty much a must if you're staying at this hotel and you should get out and explore the island and visit the west coast beaches (Alleynes Bay where Ju Ju's Beach Bar is is really nice) and other sites along the east coast as well. Bathsheba and coast line north of the hotel are incredibly scenic and worth exploring. There is a common room beside the pool with BBQ and an honour bar and there is a small store in Bellplaine not far down the road where you can get basic food items, drinks and beer etc and there are much bigger, better grocery stores further away. The friendly staff at the hotel really make the place and they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and got the most out of our visit. Would definitely stay at the hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely getaway. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. View was great, even on the ground floor. Will stay here again.

Santosha has a really nice setting, tucked away in the north of the island. The property is fairly small and remote. Don't expect any luxury treatments here. There are no restaurants on site, although you do get a little electric burner, microwave, and kitchen supplies. A couple of things would make the property feel a little more upscale - the hedges/vines in the parking lot needed some serious trimming (they scraped the car coming through - how hard is it to get a machete and cut them down once in a while?), and you have to set up/take down the sun umbrellas yourself. Also, if more than 2 or 3 of the rooms are using the pool area it feels very crowded; it's just a bit too small. There is a jacuzzi but no hot tub, just air jets. Due to the altitude of the property. it's real windy.

One needs to be adventurous to stay here. The drive from the airport in the dark, on windy, twisty, hilly and narrow rough roads with jaw shaking potholes using right hand drive was “exciting”. A car rental is a necessity. The hotel itself was very quiet after the family with kids moved out the next day. Often no more than two or three other guests. Hotel was clean but a little run down. Maid service is not daily but we were able to get clean sheets and towels by asking. The address is spot on. It was breezy the week we stayed but it did cool us off so breakfast and dinners on The balcony were pleasant. Found the beach with the help of a local. A short walk for the hotel. It was not suitable for swimming or sun bathing but good for long walks. Be prepared to make your own meals or to drive up to 20 to 30 minutes to dine out. We came prepared and so weren’t disappointed.

Very windy, very quiet and peaceful, only the sound of the waves breaking and its very private with the exception of those you share it with.

A wonderful escape from the (relative) hectic pace of west and south coast. A private, tranquil, high quality place to enjoy some peace and quiet. Has become my go to" retreat.

Visited this lovely guest house during a birthday party. I had the privilege of staying over for the weekend. Between the sounds of the waves and the smell of the fresh sea air, it truly felt like paradise. The staff is also very accommodating.
