Great place to shop for groceries and other household stuff. Prices are reasonably but sometimes the lines can be too long.

Absolutely one of the best supermarkets in Barbados. If not the Best. Affordable prices and lots to choose from. Pleasant staff and customer service.
Went looking for lagsana oven ready but didnot find any.
Still, one of the best places to shop in Bim! Not the place with a shopping atmosphere/customer service, but the prices are among the most economical on the entire island nation....they carry good produce and brands! Keep making great choices for your patrons, Popular!
I notice a sliver of improvement in customer service
I was very happy with their selection They even had a band of tea that I did think was available. I would say that it has a tendency to be crowded so if possible go during the week day.
I like Popular stores. They have a wide variety of goods at absolutely the most reasonable prices, friendly staff and usually adequate parking. So when before 7:00 a.m. the lines at the Kendal Hill store were already snaking outside the parking lot, I headed to Spry Street, which was happily not so crowded. There are two or three separate sections and so not finding butter in the first one, I went over to the second one with my already full bag. It was too heavy to tote around the store with me and so I left it in a shopping cart in the aisle. I bought two items, butter and Adobo. Some kind customers allowed me to stand in front of them because I had so few items. I paid for my items and went back to the aisle to retrieve my cart. Imagine my shock when my blouse was yanked and a female Security Officer was demanding to see the receipt for the Adobo. She was standing right by the Adobo when I asked a customer to hand it to me since I could not reach it. I don't know what she imagined, but I was most annoyed. I don't mind being asked, but I object to being tugged. I wish I could say that my response was without anger and that I didn't respond negatively to her aggression. Unfortunately, I informed her that she was lucky I did not respond as I felt and beat the s ( and no it wasn't stuffing, though that would have been appropriate!!!) out of her, which is truly uncharacteristic behaviour for me. Surely Security Officers have the right to ask, but not physically accost persons before they can comply with a request. Of course I will continue shopping at Popular and I hope that never having had this experience before, it does not reoccur. It would be a shame to have to find bail money; or to have my face in the court section of the newspaper.
Still, among the best places to shop in Bim!
Good prices,always something on
Special ,only thing the space is too cramped but that's because of the large amount of people who usually shop at this location.
Always the best place to shop
Very nice place. It is so huge and you can find anything you want here, Fruits, snacks, drinks, toiletries,. And that's just downstairs. they not only sell food, but furniture and other household items and appliances. ATM on the outside to help with quick transactions to aid your shopping easier.
