  Consistently good food at a reasonable price. Not a Michelin starred restaurant but very good fresh tasty food. I have eaten at most of the restaurants on the island (including all the major west coast establishments) over the last four years and this is one of my favourites. A bit out of the way but certainly worth a visit if you are anywhere near.

  We were impressed with this place. Great service and food. It was worth the wait. The owner is very hospitable and knowledgeable about dishes on the menu. Staff is better than most.

  It’s great to hear of tourists stumbling across Marco Polo but truth be told most visitors to The Crane make it a mission to Dine or Drink at this cozy little rum shop restaurant a few times per visit. For us up on the West Coast the 40 minute drive is well worth it when we are met with the friendly folk both in charge and those who are enjoying the atmosphere. Always a great night at Marco Polo 🇧🇧🇬🇧

  Our first night in Barbados and we stumbled across this bar thanks to Google Maps. The fish and rice was mindblowing! Just fantastic. Then we met the owner ... an English guy called Mark who was one of the nicest most generous guys you could meet. He was full of enthusiasm and his good nature was most infectious. He let us sample a number of vintage rums at no cost... what a gentleman. The final bill was very reasonable indeed. If you’re located in this side of the island you must give this place a visit... it’s a great bar, with great food and drinks and an owner that cares about you. Loved it.

  Off night clearly. No cards accepted. No Wi-Fi and starters vastly over priced. Fish tasty though and well cooked. Staff apologetic . Prices ok. The Crane still a safe bet and more reliable.
