I'm sharing first hand what little I experienced.
My sister and family made their reservations from back home in England when they got there is was not what they ordered and still had to pay extra for a microwave to be in their room which I believed they should not have too because they paid for a supreme room and were not able to get it until 2 days later.
    That shouldn't have happen.
They room was medium space with 3 single beds.
My family is not one to extra complain but they should have received on the day they arrived what they paid for.
I was dissatisfied and disappointed and I wasn't the one staying there.
Other than that the front desk person on the day they arrived was very polite and friendly.
The hostess the lady that gave us the drinks was very cordially and polite..

Great place to stay, somewhat dated decor but very reasonably priced. Best part about the hotel is that is located on the beach, some hotels near by are on the other side of the road between the shore line abd the water. Most if not all rooms have balconies which is great to spread out in the evening or catch the last of the sun. Beach is pristine and uninterrupted

Very brief overnight stay between flights. Suited me well, around twenty minute taxi to the airport. Clean, basic room with air conditioning. Modest breakfast available at 7am.

Lovely place on South Coast above the sewerage leak; service is excellent and I had the Tuna with Potato wedges which were seasoned well - ketchup optional yet traditional? The tuna was now raw nor overcooked and the lemon wedge with it for squeezing was huge. The staff are attentive yet not intrusive, a brilliant place for taking a client to lunch or for an intimate family reunion!

Would have given it a 5 if the restaurant was better and the pool was cleaner. Loved their beach and quiet location. You can walk to the fish market and other places. Great housekeeping and overall appearance.

Stayed here in December 11-15, 2017. The hotel is very clean. It is very well maintained and taken a good care of. Beautifully located at the gorgeous beach. The view is fantastic. The beach has white sand and is very clean. No jelly fish. No weeds. The sunset view is great. Each room has a balcony, a safe for a small fee, and AC. The restaurant at the hotel is reasonably priced. I went with half board as a meal plan. Which means full hot breakfast and a great dinner. Other options would be full board with alcohol, and continental breakfast only. The culture in Barbados is different. People do not smile much and things are slow. But people are very helpful and friendly. The hotel has 24 hour security guards. You cannot enter it at night without showing your key. Every morning they have a person downstairs who help you get a bus tour and suggest other attractions.

Never judge a book by its cover. The Butterfly hotel may not look like a five star hotel from the outside but it sure is on the inside. This hotel has great management and great staff. We were married here in Barbados and everyone helped to make our time here special. This is the first time that we ate at the hotel we stayed at. The staff is very friendly. Be sure to look out for Yvette she was our waitress for most nights. She is funny with a great personality she just makes you want to come back. Stacy and Deborah were our daytime waitresses they are also amazing. Amanda one of the managers is in fact a great manager. She took the time to get to know us. We had a small issue with our bed and Amanda quickly handled our issue to make us happy and more comfortable. Having someone who knows your name and says more then just good morning or good night makes you feel good. This hotel made us feel at home. Some hotels know you by your money this hotel knows you by your name. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 8 nights from 1 July, we had a lovely room with nice view. Super nice king size bed.
They provide hair dryer and iron but no shampoos though.
The reef restaurant is value for money.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

When I check in, i received a room that was next to a braking dog then i was moved to a room where the AC was not working and there was no ( not working) cold water in the bathroom. The manager wanted to move me again, I wanted a ( price) reduction for the inconvenience, management could not comprehend that, so they call their self discounting me breakfast that I've already payed for when I purchase the hotel for 2 weeks.

i will never recommend this hotel, management does not understand business nor hotel management the manager suck ( the white lady ) can't remember her name horrible

Also the debit card transition machine they have there at the restaurant sucks, it wasn't reading my card, and no body was able to understand manual input until I had to show them. Damn it 2017 people don't understand alternatives function she deal with the public.

    Never again

Sixteen (16) members of the Eastern Horticultural Club Trinidad and Tobago stayed at this hotel for the period June 23rd – 25th 2017. Pleasant and professional staff, clean and comfortable facilities, the food at the Reef restaurant was tasty and value for money. Ease of transport and walking distance to other beaches and supermarket, would definitely stay again and recommended for the budget traveller.

Great location with a very nice beach. Beautiful sunsets from the pool deck and beach. Hotel is a bit outdated but doesn't matter since we were on different beach every day. Near Lawrence Gap and Ositins, both places have great food and entertainment. Also the roti place next door us amazing! Loved my stay in Butterfly Beach
