Description
ANCON Beton Pty Ltd commenced operations in November 1996 founded by Ian Burnett and other industry associates. Ian previously had 33 years experience with CSR Readymix in all facets of concrete including technical, production, market and major project work. ANCON developed consultancy in all aspects of concrete and concrete construction including floors and pavements in Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia, Far East Russia and the Middle East.
Furthermore, to ensure that ANCON provided its clients with the widest range of up to date technology, ANCON started providing its clients the best equipment to ensure that they had the right tools for their project.
ANCON is the exclusive representative for Somero Enterprises and Allen Engineering Corporation in Australia and South East Asia.
As of 2016, ANCON has sold a combined total of more than 900 Somero Laser Screeds and Allen Engineering Trowels. The Concrete Institute of Australia has presented ANCON with three Merit Awards for Excellence.
Chris Keen (ex Allen Engineering) joined the ANCON Group in 2011 to head up its Asia operations and is now based in Brisbane, Australia.
The Australia team is complemented by the inclusion of Barry Fisher as Equipment Sales Manager - Austraila/New Zealand, Nathan Burnett as Filed Support and the team is strongly supported by Athina Dossis, Business Manager, along with Jacinta Witham, Customer Service.
ANCON also has a strong presence in SE Asia with sales representation working directly for ANCON in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. ANCON is proud to also have a dealer in Indonesia, PT. Atlas Pacific International.
