What is Blushing Acres?
Blushing Acres are growers of Mangoes and Avocados in Far North Queensland at Dimbulah just 1.5 hours from Cairns on the Atherton Tablelands.

When do we need Workers?
The harvest period is between December and April. Mangoes start in December and finish in Mid-January and then Avocados start in February to finish in April. At least 38 workers are needed to pick and pack fruit. The pruning period is from May to July and at least 10 employees are needed in this time to prune the trees.

Where will I stay?
Blushing Acres has accommodation on the farm where all employees stay. All accommodation is twin share rooms either in Dongas or Barracks style rooms - the Dongas are ensuite with fridge/freezers and storage space and the Barracks rooms have adjacent kitchen and bathroom. There is a large fully equipped kitchen and laundry room with a large chest freezer.
