Description
KF Elbasani is an albanian football club wich plays in the city of Elbasan, Albania. It has been founded on 10 October 2013 from the merge of "Perparimi" and "Aferdita", two other clubs from Elbasan. The team entered in the first league of FSHF (Albanian Football Association) on 1930 and in 1932 changed the name in "KS Skampa" until 1939. Then it was known as "KS Bashkimi". On 1949, after the World War II, the team was known as "Elbasani" until 1950, when the communism changed its name in "Puna Elbasan", and after that in "KS Labinoti Elbasan" on 1958. In 1991 the team has returnedi the old name "KS Elbasani", and finally, from 1997 the football club was divided from sports club and was named only "KF Elbasani".
